Allison Harrington, M.Ed., CCC-SLP

When I am not working, I enjoy going to concerts, amusement parks, and most importantly, spending time with my family.

I have been working for Speech Solutions, Inc. since 2008. I began in the office, decided to become an SLP-Assistant, worked in this role for a few years, and I have now decided to return to the office setting! I love being able to interact with the speech therapist and the clients.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephews, reading, and going to the beach.

I have been working at Speech Solutions Inc. since 2021. I will be graduating this year from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a B.S. in Biology. After graduation, I plan on attending an occupational therapy program.

When I’m not at work or school, I enjoy spending time with friends and family.

I currently have been with Speech Solutions, Inc. since June 2022. I am an Alumni of UNCP with a BS in Psychology. My current position is overseeing all Medicaid billing for the Lumberton Office. I reside in the Pembroke area along with my husband. In my free time I enjoy going to church and spending time with family and friends!

I have been working for Speech Solutions since 2016. In 2020, I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a B.S. in Elementary Education. In 2023, I graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology and transitioned from office staff to speech-language pathologist at Speech Solutions. My passion is to help kids of all ages learn how to communicate effectively!

When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going on walks with my dog, sitting on the beach, and attending Antioch Baptist Church!

I was born and raised in Lumberton, where I am now raising my twin boys, Thomas and Owen. I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 11 years and have been with Speech Solutions since day 1. I attended Peace College where I received by Bachelors in Childhood Development and then went on to East Carolina University to obtain my Masters in Communications Sciences and Disorders. I work in a variety of settings and enjoy collaborating with our many talented therapists to ensure that our patients receive the most individualized care.

After retiring from the Public Schools of Robeson County with 28 years of service, I am transitioning from a part to full-time position with Speech Solutions as a Speech-Language Pathologist. During my free time, I love weekend getaways with my family.

I am married to Daryl Hardee, and I am the mother of two adult children, Jessica and Adam. I am the mother of one special, deaf/blind Australian Shepherd named Keller. We live in White Lake.

I have previously served on the North Carolina Speech Hearing Language Association’s Board of Directors and Nominations Committee. I currently maintain the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) and N.C. licensure. I am excited to be a part of the Speech Solutions, Inc. team.

I have been married since 2010 to my husband, Thomas, and we have two children. Hunter is seven years old, and Holland is five years old. We have a three-year-old German Shepard pup named Sage. You can find us entertaining friends and family, completing home projects, traveling, and being outdoors in our spare time.

When I am not working, I enjoy shopping for bargains with all my closest friends. I enjoy traveling and painting as well. I have one daughter, Chelsea, who is the apple of my eye.

I became an SLP-Assistant in 2007. I am quiet to the public eye, but I enjoy my one-on-one time with the children I serve. The people I work with daily are very special to me. I have two beautiful daughters who keep me busy during my time off.

I have been an SLP-Assistant since 2001. I serve clients in the Rowland and Lumberton communities. I have two daughters, and I enjoy spending time with them.

I graduated from Fayetteville Tech, and I am originally from St. Pauls. I am also Gigi to Jasiah! I enjoy going to the beach, reading and spending time with my family in my spare time.

My name is Magan McDaniel, I currently live in Fairmont with my husband, Matt, and our children, Bailey and Brooks. I graduated from Fayetteville Tech as an SLP-Assistant in 2016. My passion is working with children of all ages and in many different settings. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.

B.S. Recreational Therapy- East Carolina University. Doctorate in Occupational Therapy- Methodist University. I recently graduated from Methodist University with a Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy. My experience as a recreational therapist sparked my interest in occupational therapy and created various opportunities that lead to my professional transition.
I completed my doctoral research with Speech Solutions as a student and now have the pleasure of working with them as a therapist! I have experience with pediatrics, adults, lymphedema and I’m certified in LSVT BIG for Parkinson’s disease. When I am not in the clinic, I enjoy walks along the beach and spending time with family.

My name is Summer Pittman. I was born and raised in Lumberton. I am married and have two beautiful children. I received my Bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University in Elementary Education. After six years of service in teaching, I decided to go back to school at Francis Marion University to earn my masters in Speech Language Pathology. I just recently graduated and I am excited to help serve our community in a new way!

My name is Sandra Branch from St. Pauls, N.C. I am married to Hugh Branch Jr. I have one son Nicholas and wife Brandi, and three beautiful grandchildren, Harmoni, Nickolas, and Braxton. I took a break from Speech Therapy, obtained my CDL’s and teamed with my husband driving 18 wheeler trucks nationwide. I enjoyed traveling, but my heart is in speech therapy, doing my part to help make a difference in a child’s life.

In 2000 I received my BS in Occupational Therapy and BS in Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. For 10 years My husband, Son and two daughters lived in Nebraska. During that time I worked as an OT in an inpatient psychiatric setting. As our daughters began school we decided that it was time to move back to Robeson county and live close to family. Since 2010 I have worked with  children ages 3-21 years old in the school systems of two surrounding counties. I am looking forward to caring for the children of our community. In my free time I like to spend time with family and ride horses in the mountains.

My name is Sydney Jackson, and I am from Bladenboro, NC. I received my B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science with a minor in Psychology and a concentration in Exercise Physiology from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2021. In 2024, I graduated from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in Salisbury, NC with an Associate of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant degree. I am certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and licensed by the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy.  I enjoy working with the pediatric population within the occupational therapy profession and providing skilled therapy. When I am not in the clinic, I enjoy spending time with friends and family.

Greetings, my name is Malina Cummings. I am a graduate of FTCC as an SLP-Assistant. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, listening to classic country music. I look forward to improving the diverse needs of students I encounter on a daily basis through therapy and building relationships.

I am Alisa L. Dial and a native of Pembroke, N.C. I earned my Master’s of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Appalachian State University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I have been an SLP since 2006, serving preschool through high school-aged students in both the public school and private therapy settings.

I am a Native of Robeson County, NC where I live with my husband Zach and our two fur babies. I received my Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Speech Pathology and Audiology in 2018. I then obtained my Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University in 2022. In my free time I enjoy crafting, trips to the beach, spending time with my dogs, and serving on the worship team at my church. I have always found joy working with kids and helping others. I love that Speech Solutions allows me the opportunity to serve my surrounding communities while doing something I am passionate about.

My name is Ashley Norton and I am so excited to be joining the Speech Solutions family! I graduated from UNC-Pembroke with a BA in elementary education with a concentration in reading. I worked in public school for six years before switching over to private school. I currently work at Christ the Cornerstone Academy and teach 4th grade. I decided to go back to school in 2017 and have a BA in communication disorders from USU. I am a mom of two boys (Trey and Will) who keep me busy and are my biggest blessing! We love to spend our time together at home and love any outdoor activities (hiking, biking, swimming and skiing are a few of our favorite things to do). I also love CrossFit, yoga, spending time with my family, friends and church family at Northview Harvest Ministries.

I have worked with pediatrics and adults in the daycare, public school, nursing home, hospital, and private practice settings throughout my career. I especially enjoy working within the hearing impaired community or with those affected with hearing loss.

Since graduation, I have worked in various settings, including schools, skilled nursing facilities, daycares, homes, and clinic settings. I joined the Speech Solutions Inc. family in 2016. My husband Walt and I reside in Clarendon with our two sons, Layson and Lyncoln. I thank God for my family and an excellent work family at Speech Solutions.

I received my undergraduate degree from East Carolina University in 2019. I then went on to graduate from North Carolina Central University with a Masters in Speech- Language Pathology in 2021. I currently reside in White Lake, N.C., I am a member of White Lake Fire Department. In my free time I love volunteering and helping out within my community.

I have grown up in the Columbus County area and currently reside in Lake Waccamaw with my husband, Drew, and our two precious children, Finley and Clara. I attended East Carolina University and received my bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in occupational therapy. As of February 2023, I will have been an OT for 5 years. I have experience working with a large variety of patients, but my passion is for pediatrics. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, camping, and traveling when the time allows. I am living out my life-long dream of practicing occupational therapy in my hometown with Speech Solutions!

I have lived in Columbus County my entire life.  My husband, Chris, and I have three wonderful children, Emily ,Lacey and Brady.  We enjoy camping with friends and family and watching our kids play ball. I graduated from Cape Fear Community College in May of 2001 with an OTA degree.  I have worked as a pediatric therapist beginning in August of 2001.  The most rewarding thing about working with kids is being able to be a part of their personal and educational growth. I am excited to join the Speech Solutions family and look forward to great things!

I began with Speech Solutions, Inc as a summer intern during undergrad at NC State University. During graduate school, I completed all my clinicals with Speech Solutions, Inc. Upon graduating with my master’s from Francis Marion University in Speech-Language Pathology in 2023, I became a full-time employee with Speech Solutions, Inc. I live in Shallotte, NC with my husband, Luke and our Boykin Spaniel, Scoter. We enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, beach and lake days. I am thankful for the opportunity Speech Solutions has given me throughout my college and career journey.

I have been a speech/language pathologist for 29 years.  I worked for the Providence School Dept. in Providence, RI for 28 years.  I was born and raised in Pawtucket, RI, but now North Carolina is my home. I am married and in my spare time, I enjoy golfing, going to the beach, hanging by the pool, and spending time with friends and family.

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2020 with a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Human Development and family studies. Since then, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing facilities, schools, daycares, preschools, outpatient clinics, and home health environments. This diverse experience has allowed me to work with a wide range of populations, including individuals with early intervention needs, autism, aphasia, language disorders, phonological disorders, and hearing loss. I have training in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Listening and Spoken Language/Auditory Verbal therapy, and Gestalt language processing, which helps me provide targeted and individualized care to my clients. I am a neuroaffirming speech-language pathologist, committed to supporting and respecting the diverse ways individuals experience and interact with the world. I have always had a passion for working with children and helping them learn and grow in the area of communication. My younger sister has a rare brain disorder that caused a variety of developmental and intellectual disabilities that allowed me to grow up attending speech therapy sessions & inspired me to seek this career path. I strive for therapy sessions with high parent involvement while also keeping the kids engaged and motivated. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family—my spouse, our beautiful 1-year-old daughter, and our three pets: two dogs and a cat. I love going to Oak Island to relax & all things Disney! 

I have been working as a Speech Language Pathologist since 2011, after graduating in 2010 with my MS in Speech Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. I began my career working with adults, but soon after moved to pediatrics and have loved it! I have varied experience working with different ages and settings. I love working with language and phonological disorders. I have a husband, William, and 4 children. They keep us busy with church activities and school and sports! In my free time, I enjoy being out on White Lake with my family.
